Staff from Reaksmey Hang Meas Music Productions said that the company will open a radio station and starts broadcasting at the end of this month, reports everyday.com.
Reaksmey Hang Meas is the biggest and most famous Cambodian karaoke production company that has signed up famous singers such as Preap Sovath, Sapoun Midada and Meng Keopich Chenda.
Hang Meas Radio will broadcast on 104.5 FM for 12 hours a day from 6 am till mid night, seven days a week. It will mostly play songs from the Reaksmey Hang Meas Productions.
A staff from Reaksmey Hang Meas told Phnom Penh Post that the aim of this new radio is for commercial purpose only and will not involve in politics. The radio is aiming to compete with other radio stations for commercial and advertising revenues only, says everyday.com.
