Authority of Daun Penh District is convening a meeting to put in place security measures to protect the people and city during its up coming 575th Birthday Celebration, report everyday.com.
Mr. Sok Sambath, governor of Daun Penh District who chaired the meeting on 6th May, said that the celebration will be held at Wat Phnom gardens where dignitaries will attend and artistic performances will be organised, says everyday.com.
The history of the birth of Phnom Penh City had been incribed in the Khmer chronology since the 15th century. It will be 575 years old this year.
